Anna Friz — if that is indeed who she says she is. Clones are real and we might be some too. Tune in won’t you?

Hi Campers:

If you feel like a little esoteric entertainment this afternoon, come on by the Joan Flash Artists Book Collection Library today at 4pm — 5th Floor of the Sharp building — and sit yourself down for a spell.

I will be performing an audio/video piece called Clouds 2.0 based on (and inspired by) a score by William Bryant from the collection. You could say it’s video controlled audio controlled video and then some.

My pals, Peter Speer, Stephen Germana, Troy Schafer and Milad Mozari are also performing inspired versions of works from the collection.

Dear Listener:

Please be careful with, this, the latest episode of The Distract and Disable Program. It contains sounds that could potentially send you spinning off on to the astral plane, or, at least that’s what Glue seems to think (as evidenced from the notes I found with a tape that I will be playing this month.) It really makes me wonder if perhaps Glue, rather than being taken away by the others (which is what by all appearances happened), is actually just taking an extended vacation on the astral plane. I hear there are good resorts there, and they’re free once you levitate over the fence to get in. You just have to watch out for the menacers, star travelers, and ghosts. But hey, if you know what you are doing, you can even order room service!
